margins. The plate is signed "Whistler" and has the imprint of "London, Published December 1st. 1861. by Day &
Son, Lith. to the Queen." Listed in E G Kennedy [1910 as No 86, Sketching No 1, and as No 50 in Colnaghi &
Company "Exibition of Etchings, etc [London 1971].
